Captain of Clean—Sanitor Bear Creek, WI sketch x

You’re someone who cares about order. High standards. Cleanliness. You’re well-versed in cleaning essentials: operations, materials, supplies, and pest control. We’re in need of someone like you—someone who understands the importance of sanitation in food production and has demonstrated the ability to go above and beyond standards to guarantee clean, safe handling practices and equipment.

This position isn’t just about “cleaning,” though—it’s also about keeping up production equipment, documentation, making sure chemicals are properly labeled, stored and used, and adhering to GMP guidelines (just to name a few).

We’ll need you to see to it that all sanitation rules and regulations are being followed to the letter so our products remain high-quality and safe. Also in your hands: troubleshooting issues related to sanitation and coming up with innovative solutions to problems.

At GLK, safety is a top priority, and we’ll rely on your expertise to help us maintain a safe environment. Along the way, we’ll provide regular reviews and relevant training to help keep you up to speed.

What we like about YOU

  • You constantly work to better yourself and sharpen your skills
  • You can document information clearly and accurately
  • You’re an independent worker and quick on your feet

  • You have proven success working under pressure and multitasking (even in the face of disruptions)
  • You find it easy to communicate with people from all walks of life
  • You’re a perfectionist in all things sanitation—you’re able to produce work within exacting standards and tolerances
  • You know what the acronym “HACCP” means (and have a working knowledge of how to implement and follow it)
  • You can comply with company policies and procedures, GMPs, safety and quality standards, food safety measures, OSHA, and other safety regulations
  • You’re okay with working in a hot and humid environment
  • You can lift and move heavy and weirdly-shaped objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • You have a high school diploma or GED
  • You have training and 1-3 years in a field related to sanitation
  • You can pass a pre-employment screening for drugs that could negatively affect job performance
