Forklift Driver sketch x

The Production Forklift Operator shall be responsible for supplying materials to the production lines, Change overs as needed, taking out dumpsters and putting away finished goods. Also responsible for maintaining inventories using the first in/first out methodology and overall area organization and cleanliness.  This position is to be performed employing the safest, most efficient and professional methods possible.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Oversees incoming and outgoing components and product to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition.
  • Move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift.
  • picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.  Assist in physical inventories.  Ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
  • Seeks out efficiencies in production operations and make recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance of company policies and procedures, GMP’s, safety and quality standards, food safety measures, OSHA and other safety regulations.
  • Take necessary action to eliminate delays, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Line Lead/Manager.

 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and safely operate all equipment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure, work within deadlines and the ability to work flexibly.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties in a highly disruptive environment.
  • Ability to efficiently work with minimum supervision.
  • Good understanding of health and safety best practices within a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be age 18 or older to operate forklift.
  • Requires flexibility with schedule including break times and working extended hours when needed. Will work an occasional weekend.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience working in a warehouse facility or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience operating associated or similar equipment.
  • Food industry experience preferred, not required.
  • Forklift certification, or ability to become certified (company provided).
Machine Operator sketch x

The Machine Operator is responsible for day-to-day operations within the production department. Responsible for the production area in accordance with Plant Policies and Procedures. The Machine Operator is responsible for operation of the production equipment trained on.

 

OBJECTIVES/ACTIVITIES:

  • Operate machine in accordance with plan policies and procedures.
  • Operate machine to meets established goals while maintaining a safe work environment and quality standards.
  • Will need to pass LOTO training
  • Ability to efficiently work with minimum or no direct supervision.
  • Responsible to meet shift production goals
  • Active role in ensuring product quality.
  • Operate within established standard operating procedures.
  • Must be able to work overtime when required to do so.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks under time pressure.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently at the same time.
  • Ability to read and fill out all paperwork.

Company Backbone—Production Associate sketch x

Starting Pay:  $18.00 per hour with a 1.00 shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shift. 90, 180, and 270 day probationary periods with a possible .50 pay increase at the end of each probationary period.   

$2,000 sign on bonus after successful reviews.

Eagle-Eyed Detective—Quality Assurance Specialist sketch x

You see things no one else notices. And, when there’s a mystery to be solved, everyone turns to you for help. We need someone like you—a naturally curious, science-based thinker with experience in the field of quality assurance and HACCP.

We’ll call you our “Quality Assurance Specialist,” a highly respected position around here. You’ll be creating and maintaining our HACCP programs, as well as administering our document register, which houses all critical documents and procedures that support our quality assurance program. All quality system and regulatory monitoring activities are in your hands. Yeah, it’s a big deal.

You’ll spend time in our lab, assisting the QA Manager (hold process, foreign material process, glass breakage signoff, code change approval). You’ll review daily paperwork and organize the daily folder, handle sample organization, and perform COA reviews of incoming materials. Plus, you’ll back up our Lab Technician (finished goods testing, lab equipment calibration, fill weights, metal detection).

Sanitor- Bear Creek, WI sketch x

We’re in need of someone like you—someone who understands the importance of sanitation in food production and has demonstrated the ability to go above and beyond standards to guarantee clean, safe handling practices and equipment.

This position isn’t just about “cleaning,” though—it’s also about keeping up production equipment, documentation, making sure chemicals are properly labeled, stored and used, and adhering to GMP guidelines (just to name a few).

Officially, you’re our “Sanitor,” which means you’ll be a part of the line responsible for ensuring food safety, quality, and production efficiency. We’ll need you to see to it that all sanitation rules and regulations are being followed to the letter so our products remain high-quality and safe. Also in your hands: troubleshooting issues related to sanitation and coming up with innovative solutions to problems.
