GLK Foods is a pioneer. We were the first in the kraut industry to use stainless steel vats, vacuum systems for loading and unloading tanks, high-speed vertical form-fill-seal equipment, and an automated shredding and sorting process using state-of-the-art lasers and optics. We’ve introduced a variety of products including flavored artisanal kraut, shelf-stable kraut in poly bags, and grab ‘n go single-serve snack items with mass appeal. Our OH SNAP! product line is creating a whole new category for pickled snacking veggies. Stand-up, gusseted pouches are resealable and our raw kraut pouches include a one-way vent allowing kraut to ferment naturally. Poly bag packaging provides incredible crispness, while cans and jars are familiar and convenient. Barrels and 1-ton totes are also available to meet larger foodservice requirements.
